West Kimberley IMPACT Club

IMPACT Club is a hub of creativity and leadership for young people in Derby and Mowanjum (a remote West Kimberley community). Clubs deliver weekly out-of-school activities designed to foster confidence, connection to culture, leadership and life skills, positive relationships and community contribution.

Club activities include cultural activities, arts, sports, learning games, community projects and ‘on country’ visits. Importantly the Club strengthens school attendance.

Guided by Elders and local First Nations staff, Impact Club provides experiences that grow young people’s cultural pride, teamwork and confidence. Young people aged X and above initiate and deliver community contribution projects. Young people are stepping up to lead, speak out and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
